Before superstar Bad Bunny left Texas to continue his tour, he once again showed his support for the survivors of the Uvalde shooting.

Zamora was one of the children injured in the May 24 attack, and she spent two months recovering at University Hospital in San Antonio.The Correa Family Foundation, founded by former Houston Astros player Carlos Correa, said Mayah is August’s Hero of the Month. She was also honored at an Astros game last month when she threw out the first pitch.

“Mayah has suffered unimaginable hardship this year after losing many of her closest friends and two beloved teachers during the Robb Elementary School massacre in Uvalde, Texas.” the foundation previously posted. “She was severely and critically wounded herself. While hospitalized, she continued to amaze doctors with her resiliency and strength. All doctors, from her trauma team to plastic surgeons, were in awe of her.
