CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — It didn’t take Mia Fradsham long to decide what sport the graduate of Charlottetown Rural High School wanted to play at university.
The opportunity to play so close to home is not lost on Fradsham, who appreciates having family members in the stands on a regular basis. “The team environment and how everyone is so good to each other all the time,” continued Fradsham, a student in the financial mathmatics program. “You can be super competitive, go out there, fight and give it everything you have, and everybody is so close.”
Fradsham is typically the first person to handle the ball at every breakdown. As a result, Fradsham is entrusted to make good decisions in those situations. With the Panthers posting their first .500 regular-season record in 10 years last season, Fradsham shares the optimism surrounding the team entering the 2022 campaign.
