De La Salle vs. Serra: How to watch Friday night’s huge high school football game

The showdown Friday night between high school football giants De La Salle and Serra was probably a tougher ticket than any other Bay Area sporting event in months.

This will be the first meeting between De La Salle and Serra (1-0 in six years. Both coaches Justin Alumbaugh of the Spartans and Patrick Walsh of the Padres are great friends and former star players at De La Sale. ESPN cameras aside, for an early September matchup, the stakes were already going to be enormous. Consider:– Serra just won its season opener on the road against Folsom, another NorCal heavyweight that ended De La Salle’s season last season.
