Our post\u002Dsecondary institutions are imposing restrictions and requirements on one of the youngest, healthiest and least at risk populations.

Of course, Brock doesn’t have the strictest COVID rules – that honour goes to the University of Western Ontario followed by the University of Toronto. Western is requiring all students to have at least three shots and wear a mask in order to attend classes, Toronto is requiring three shots minimum to live on campus but so far has no mask mandate. From our newsroom to your inbox at noon, the latest headlines, stories, opinion and photos from the Toronto Sun.

“At a population level across Ontario, I think these are prudent, they’re practical and reasonable expectations for Ontarians to adhere to, and that we’ve had high levels of immunization, high levels of uptake by all Ontarians without any mandates at a population level,” Moore said.Article contentMoore said that he has reviewed the data on where COVID is in Ontario right now, he’s looked at theand doesn’t think he needs to add new requirements or restrictions to keep schools safe.

“Given that schools are not isolated from communities, implementation of these temporary measures should not be done in isolation of community measures for indoor spaces. These temporary measures are not expected to be required at the start of the 2022 school year,” their report said.

You god damn right they do. Time to leave the kids alone.

Are you actually still doing this!? Childish society.

Follow the money, Pfizer and gates donation to universities.

Good.. Its about bloody time we go back to goddamn normal ffs.

If you weren’t MAGA, the title could have been School children less safe than university student ahead of fall Covid wave

And Lilley thinks endangering kids is a GOOD thing. Because whatever his boss Dougie says.

Pull your kids the second they try ! !

You say that like it's a good thing. Useless.

This is because people are the most protective with their young children. Also since the beginning of COVID every parent I’ve talked to said when their kids had COVID they barely showed symptoms that lasted 24 hours. So tell me again why we are vaccinating them?

Our sacred Alma maters are becoming quack process institutions instead of scientific process institutions. our youth have to question everything they are taught. The problem is how do you pass if you question their quackery. Propaganda is becoming structured into education.

All the restrictions need to go.

Still writing about provincial affairs despite the conflict of interest.

University used to be fun

Good, it's over anyways.

good.

Lift ALL restrictions. At this point if you're still afraid of Covid, just stay home; for the rest of your life.

If university students grew and pair and refused to go along with the theatre things would change mighty quick.

I know right. What is Ford thinking? How lost is he FordFailedHealthcare fordfailedstudents

400 covid deaths in the last 4 days and the sun wants more

brianlilley Is long covid a concern amongst this demographic?

Science

there should be no restrictions it's the flu *as if we don't know

brianlilley getting tired of this story...China set to attack soon

Odd you would think those running a university would have intelligence and actually care about their students

Raising attention to this just brings out the fanatics to insist on useless/harmful control measures in our schools as well. Logic left the building long ago. Students need to unregister en mass and bankrupt these criminal universities. If allowed to continue it never ends.

These university students are adults and need to use their voice.. and not be bullied by a liberal agenda..

Yeah cause universities are liberal indoctrination places now.

brianlilley One doctor says they don’t need to mask and can go to school/work with positive tests. 100s of doctors scream out in protest. I’ll stick with the advice of 100s over the single politically driven doc, thanks.

And that's a problem for our students and school staffs. Universities have taken a more prudent route.

There should be no restrictions other than are you sick? Ok stay home until you are better!

It’s so called “science”.

Thats very sad, i hope that university students stand up against this non sense, its ridiculous

Today's reminder that there are AT LEAST two half-naked SUNshine girls who are more popular as 'news' than anything yelich_ivana's boyfriend BrianLilley 'wrote' on behalf of his scumbag employer or FordNation. ONpoli

Maga tears

brianlilley Universities are not publicly funded. Therefore, just like private businesses, they can enforce their own restrictions. It’s not rocket science 🤷‍♀️

brianlilley There should be NO restrictions.

That's because the Ministry of Education won't allow the School boards to implement protections for those children.

The common denominator is research grants.

Good.

Governor of Florida, DeSantis, said: 'we ban the mask in Florida..It was not grounded in reality in data,in evidence..They lied to us about the mRNA shot. They said, if you take it,you will not have Covid. That’s false, ideology over data and science..'

brianlilley Thank you for writing this. So true. Where is the Minister for Colleges and Universities? He’s been hiding.

We should just live with covid and just live our lives normally like we did with the flue

brianlilley What is the problem with our universities?

brianlilley A good article. Of course it will trigger many... You seem to cause the entire UWO faculty to lose their minds. Curious thing that.

brianlilley None of them should have restrictions. But high school students in Toronto are being shamed into wearing masks. Teachers need to respect students’ choice and not pressure them to wear masks to make others more comfortable. Enough

brianlilley

brianlilley may want to keep his yap shut for at least the next month or two. But I suspect he doesn't care that he may be proven wrong for supporting his GF's boss's incompetence.

Because the guy who thinks ppl testing positive can just go straight to work or school is setting school policy for kids.

There shouldn't be any restrictions.

It’s coming…

This is what happens when you let the Facility of Basket Weaving and Hypochondria set the health policies.
