Man and woman aged in their 80s have been killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Cork.

While the drivers of the transporter and the third car were both medically assessed at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment.Traffic diversions are expected to remain in place for a number of hours.They are also appealing to road users who were travelling on the N28 in the Shannon Park area between 10:45am and 11am with camera footage to make it available to them.
