A Christian public-policy organization is telling parents that they have other options for their children in Columbus City Schools teacher strike.

said in a press release. “After everything children have endured for the last three years, from being locked out of school under the guise of ‘safety protocols’ to being subjected to failing educational standards, now the schools have kicked kids out yet again, mere days before they were to report to class.”, which would make every school-aged kid in Ohio eligible for a voucher that pays for private education under a plan unveiled by House Republicans.

"Making matters worse, Columbus City Schools is justifying locking students out of schools by hiding behind complaints of being underfunded – all while they fund a lawsuit to abolish EdChoice and force the handful of Columbus children who have escaped their district out of the schools their families have chosen as an alternative,” Baer added. “Enough is enough.

needs to fix our broken education scheme by funding students, not systems, and passing the Backpack Bill.”that the bill could cost up to $2 billion for kids who are already outside public schools and question how the money would be spent.

Well as a city dweller who may be fortunate enough but not wealthy I would never consider CSC if we were to remain in city limits. Private school would be the only way until I see progress made. And it doesn’t help my property taxes merely doubled since 2019.

Lock outs and strikes are not the same thing.

Wouldn’t a good Christian try not to take advantage of kids in a bad situation……..

That is what the children need They cannot mention the word slavery in public school but they can go to right wing racist private schools to learn how to be little Trumps😱

Keep my tax dollars out of churches and religion.

A vile organization for vile people

Thus the plan has been revealed. It has always been about the death of public education. The Columbus School Board has been a willing participant in this assault. Vote them ALL out.

Diverting property tax dollars from the public school to the private school isn’t a scholarship.

Kids would learn more staying home and watching Sesame Street than going to this Christian brainwashing academy.

Good. Shut it down. Hate it for the good kids.

Ancient Irish proverb: When failed bargaining closes a school, God opens a window.

No one wants to pay for public schools, so let's pay EXTRA for elitist bullshit schools instead! Sounds about white.
