Classes in other parts of the country proceeded as scheduled, and the Philippine National Police reported the day went without incident.Storm 'Florita' was forecast by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration to cross the northern tip of Northern Luzon Monday night with maximum winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 90 kph.

'It has always been my belief that learning will be more effective inside classrooms where students fully interact with their teachers and fellow students,' the President said in a statement. And while students are feeling a sense of normalcy after more than two years of distance learning because of the coronavirus pandemic, Marcos reminded everyone to continue taking precautions since the threat of getting infected is still very much present.
