'School shootings' are mostly gang drive-bys in the vicinity of a school. Actual, Uvalde-style massacres are exceptionally rare, in a nation of 330 million people.
Note that these statistics include drive by shootings and suicides of students. None of this is good, but you need to understand what the stats mean.
