“We remain in close contact with Public Health; therefore, we may update our protocols during the Fall 2022 Term regarding masking and vaccinations depending on the guidance we receive,” SMU said in its update. “We will ask you to respect this any other public health measures that we may need to introduce, depending on how the pandemic develops over the rest of the summer and into the fall.”

No post-secondary institutions will require students to be vaccinated against the virus that has killed more than 470 Nova Scotians since the pandemic began in 2020. But as with other universities, Saint Mary’s “strongly encourages” additional vaccinations and boosters as they become available.

Are B.C.'s public universities, colleges considering a mandatory Indigenous Studies course?Earlier this month, an East Coast university made an Indigenous Studies course a mandatory graduation requirement. Better to learn whatever a person wants to learn to further their own education. Another example of over reach and thought control 👎🏽 In BC the K to 12 curriculum already includes a lot of indigenous-related content and accurate history. I can see Indigenous Studies requirement making sense if it's relevant to the career path, but students hitting post-secondary these days should've already been well-exposed.

What does the course consist of? A long ass guilt trip and then an indoctrination into an Marxist activist cult? Why, isn’t this taught across the country in K-12?
