Four local school districts will be receiving state money to strengthen their school security.

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio - Four local districts will be receiving state money to strengthen their school security.According to Patton, $706,786 will be divided between the districts.

He says they’ll use the money to buy some items to beef up security. However, that doesn’t mean it will prevent violence from happening. Laub says they’re more focused on mental health and wellness, something co-sponsor of the grant State Rep. Patton says isn’t included in the grant.
