Former superintendent of education applies to be a school trustee

With Friday's 2 p.m. deadline for nominations fast approaching, one more candidate filed paperwork on Wednesday.

John Bruno, a retired superintendent with Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board, is running for school trustee with his old employer. Bruno, who ran unsuccessfully for Ward 3 city councillor in 2018, is currently vice chair of Sault Ste.
