Hillcrest High School pupils who used racial slurs supposedly did not know what the words meant, according to the school's governing body. Pupils staged intermittent protests at Hillcrest High School a day after its governing body released its first public statement on a racism fracas where the k-word and n-word were used.read to the school and published on its Facebook page, School Governing Body chairperson Byron Creed said the matter"stemmed from a private WhatsApp group which had no affiliation whatsoever to Hillcrest High School other than that the pupils attend HHS".
