We apologize, but this video has failed to load. The union says the pay raises are needed because the province has been holding down education worker pay since 2012 and they claim, “Inflation over the next 3 years is projected to be at least 15-17%.
”“They should expend all these energies at the table so that we can get a deal for their members,” Lecce said calling for the strike vote to be put off and negotiations to continue. He added that so far, talks have been productive with CUPE.The minister called on all sides to stay at the table and find a good deal for workers and for students.
Lecce doesn't know how negotiating works, tries bribery and deflection. FireLecce from Education
I would bet money that the words strike vote weren't in the email Ottawa Sun,Toronto Sun, any Sun 'newspaper'🤣 All just RAGS Should be having its status as a'news source' revoked like Rebel News Rag has

Lecce got 16% raise, can I get the same please
CUPE — education workers, or the federations — teachers? The public may be confused if the media’s not clarifying the different roles in education and which unions represent them.
You are the worst paper ever. Do you know how bargaining works? Terrible headline!! How many fingers do you get for this headline!?!
The pillow talk is getting to be a bit much, no? ConflictOfInterest
.fordnation - can you have someone explain Bargaining 101 to your inexperienced Minister of Ed. Or maybe have someone sit with him through the process? Tell me you don’t know what you’re doing without telling me you don’t know what you’re doing. onted onpoli
Is he at the table? As usual, you spout crap

Having a strike vote doesn’t mean leaving the bargaining table. It’s a routine and expected part of the process that allows unions to gauge the minds of their members and use that to inform their bargaining strategy. Lecce and the media are trying to sensationalize it.
What strike?
What table?
Has the government even been at the Table yet CUPE?
You are a simple man Sflecce. Using media to miss lead parents is somthing fordnation would do. Still time for you get to the table and get a deal in place for support workers. It's in your hands , we just want a reasonable pay and a bit of respect.
If sflecce is asking a union to put off on using their collective bargaining rights, wouldn't that be subject to contravening labour rights? How does fordnation call nurses & teachers 'champions' when he tramples on their rights? & He even won't repeal Bill 124!
