A mother and son duo from Southport have just celebrated their graduation - after she enrolled at university on the same day as him.
Now, 58, the mum reveals she applied to the same university in a bid to realise her dreams. And she's done exactly that. When the pair started their courses, the reality of the ground rules turned out to be "the complete opposite". The 24-year-old explained: "I was fine, I luckily managed to stay at a friend’s accommodation on campus who is one of my best mate’s from my mum’s class. I just did the normal uni life and after I got all that out of my system, I met a girl named Cleda and she’s been my girlfriend for the past three years now.
