Read Tomson Highway’s memoir, Permanent Astonishment. An enlightening read.

Parents want their children to attend school.

They are basket cases now. Imagine if they were never schooled. Assimilation is necessary.

It would've been too cruel to leave indigenous people without an ability to function in modern society.

Now they are not...more Indigenous youth die of overdoses than other groups

Much hard work and sacrifice was done by many kind, compassionate educators whose hearts were in the right place.

and more than 200,000 would have died had they remained on indian reservations

Where are the clergy from the other religions who took part in the school issue? They should all be standing alongside the pope in this apology orgy.

Day school, like that thing the government forces children to attend now? Maybe we can all come together against mandatory government indoctrination centres.

And today Government wants to get kids vaxxed with an experimental drug for a sickness that doesn't affect them

Net no school is not feasible.

This is old news. Time to move forward. Healing will never happen if we live in the past
