I don't understand... Genocide should have criminal charges... what other organization that commits kidnapping, torture, mass murderers and sex crimes is allowed to just give an apology?
Apologies for what happened hundreds of years earlier needs time take in contact of the times they ,I've in. Like for eg, CRT could in the future be seen as divisive and bad for social cohesiveness.

It would seem the Catholic church should practice its faith in such a way that they would no longer need to apologize so much to so many groups.
