REPORT: “At Robb Elementary, law enforcement responders failed to adhere to their active shooter training, and they failed to prioritize saving innocent lives over their own safety.'

July 17, 2022, 11:55 PMGrace Valencia, great aunt of shooting victim Uziyah Garcia, talks to the media from a vehicle after picking up a copy of the Texas House investigative committee report on the shootings at Robb Elementary School, Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Uvalde, Texas.

— A Uvalde Police Department officer said he heard about 911 calls that had come from inside the classroom, and that his understanding was the officers on one side of the building knew there were victims trapped inside. Still, no one tried to breach the classroom. The report — the most complete account yet of the hesitant and haphazard response to the May 24 massacre — was written by an investigative committee from the Texas House of Representatives.

“Other than the attacker, the Committee did not find any ‘villains’ in the course of its investigation,” the report said. “There is no one to whom we can attribute malice or ill motives. Instead, we found systemic failures and egregiously poor decision making.

The report followed weeks of closed-door interviews with more than 40 people, including witnesses and law enforcement who were on the scene of the shooting. No single officer has received as much scrutiny since the shooting as Arredondo, who also resigned from his newly appointed seat on the City Council after the shooting.

Not only would I never send my kids to college in Texas, I won’t allow them to drive though Texas on the way to college You see that’s the problem we have to many ‘actors’ in positions they clearly don’t comprehend. Maybe hire real people to do the work and stop hiring ‘actors’. Where was the actual police chief anyways. 😑. Fire everybody! Has anyone asked the 400 police officers present at what time did they all realize the shooter wasn't an illegal?

Texas House report on Uvalde shooting: 376 officers responded, 'systemic failures' citedA Texas House committee released an extensive preliminary report on the deadly Uvalde school shooting last month that left 19 children and two teachers dead. This unacceptable and needs a thorough investigation and holding those in the wrong accountable! No one has mentioned the horror those children went through while LE sat on their thumbs. Willful negligence of duty to protect and serve This shouldn’t even be happening in America ‼️ How can SO MANY law enforcement officers and Politicians turn a blind eye to these murders? We all know it’s happening, so why do YOU allow it? We need top notch law enforcement agencies and an entirely new Government‼️ massacres
