Uvalde police lieutenant placed on leave after report faults several agencies’ school shooting response

The House report was the first so far to criticize the inaction of state and federal law enforcement, while other reports and public accounts placed the blame squarely on Uvalde schools police Chief Pete Arredondo, for his role as incident commander, and other local police who were among the first to arrive.

They can pick and choose at random which officer to throw under the bus for this despicable betrayal, however, that's just a smoke screen to defend the force larger than the one defending the alamo which showed cowardice. Instead of writing reports, every officer should be fired

Don't police have mobile robots that have cameras and rifles or pistols on them that could have been wheeled into the room, controlled remotely, and when they had the shooter in the robots sights, fired and killed the shooter? That is stuff they have had for a long time.

Kids were killed end of story. The only one to blame is the shooter. 90% of the fatalities happened before police were on the scene. Just like you most people will not put themselves in harms way. The police did what was necessary at the time. Sometimes things have to play out
