It annoys me that from almost day 1 students in ASEAN, even pre schoolers, wore masks nobif or buts. They still are! In Australia we were told by so called experts that kids. Initially even secondary , couldn't cope. What is wrong with us. No common good?

Absolutely not! My daughter had her 2 vaxs and when she got Covid it was milder than a normal head cold. She didn’t even pass it on to us within the household. I won’t subject her to a third year of learning disruption, canceled performing arts events and not being heard.

If you have an only child and you think these precautions may work… but if you have a few children and a little one who attends daycare… it’s a bit of an uphill battle to keep illness at bay.

I would say not based on what adults are doing in the community. Families who are masking will encourage their kids to mask, most will not. Teachers masking for their own protection and for the students would be a good thing too. Govt/schools should be providing for all.

My kids wear masks everywhere. Its easy to buy kids sized ones on Ebay.The majority of my kids have Autism and if you make it normal for you to wear one, its easier for it being normal for them too.

My child had never stopped wearing their mask. All their friends & majority of classmates caught Covid after the school said they weren’t mandatory anymore. Looks like wearing masks stops the transmission…
