Ms Cousens said Prof Stuart Reges is “facing punishment for his take on a university statement that the campus is located on Native American land”.
“He said that according to the Locke theory of land ownership, which is whoever improves the land owns it, according to that the Native Americans have practically no ownership at all over the land they are talking about,” Ms Cousens said.
