Pleas understand. I’m not at all condoning this. It may be that parental protection kicked in and overrode their job duties. We are all human and sometimes what we say would/should do and what actually happens may be easier said than done until we are actually in that situation.
If you can get people away from an active shooter you should. It's not always just one or the other. I imagine they can work on getting people to safety and figuring out how to neutralize the shooter at the same time.

..'91 minutes' was not possible. It’s unclear when, during 77min, Albarado & other officers rescued his & other children. This story will be updated if we learn further details.
