Uvalde CISD officer seen on phone is husband of teacher who died, lawmaker says

UVALDE, Texas -- A state lawmaker confirmed that a police officer seen in leaked hallway video using his phone is the husband of one of the teachers who died in the Uvalde school shooting.-- shows officers running for cover in the hallway outside the Robb Elementary School classrooms where a gunman killed 19 students and two teachers.featured at the top of this story.Ruiz could been seen looking at his phone while officers waited in the hallway.

Texas Department of Public Safety Director Col. Steven McCraw said that Ruiz tried to save his wife, but was barred from doing so.

This is Bizarre. His wife was in there she dies then the next week they put him on the board of the city council I just find that odd

Wrong let me just refuse this.. Brave officer who won the day totally killing that guy is from uvalde.. But that would mean you were in a country actually had cops accountable

I was in the law field and a vet and i always ran toward the fight.that should not even gone as far as it did , but it's easy to say after the fact without being their.

bullets but a full grown man with body armor would have stood a better chance, That’s the issue. They took that job to serve and protect and all they did was protect their own lives. I’d strip all of them from their badges.

The fact is is that because it wasn’t their children they didn’t feel the need to risk their life’s. All I kno is that if it was me I’d have gone in anyway bunch of cowards with gear didn’t want to run in and take a few bullets for these kids who with their small and fragile
