Just get rid of the expensive crest please
There’s more structure when a uniform is worn in a school. Plus it takes the bother out of parents having to buy a variety of clothes for the school week
I think it promotes discipline, also it prevents class differences to be visible amongst classmates. Same uniform, cannot know who's rich who's not.

I agree with uniforms, but not with crested overpriced ones.
.... kids being what they are will say 'oh look he/she is wearing runners from a pound shop' Bullying Some parents are unable to afford what others are.
It's easier obviously to wear them every day a lot less hassle in the morning

Yes a standard issue, this stops kids going designer label and gives a clear distinction of work and play
My sons have had school uniforms from Junior infants to leaving cert. & it’s been great for me. I managed with two sets of shirt/trousers each (courtesy of cheap retailer) & one crested jumper each (the only big expense).
