Uvalde police response to shooting an 'abject failure'Evidence shows the law enforcement response to the Uvalde school shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers in May was 'an abject failure,' according to the Texas Department of Public Safety Director. Mmm, lots of names featured in that article but no mention of the killer, Salvador Ramos. Their response well may have been an abject failure but tragedy is just that, a tragedy. What about the failure of successive governments and states to introduce proper gun control measures? These awful and needless deaths are only a drop in the gun death ocean. Door used by Uvalde gunman not locked - officialThe classroom door in the Uvalde primary school where 19 children and two teachers were killed in May was not locked, even as police waited for a key, the Texas Department of Public Safety Director has said. The police were complicit, waited over an hour before reacting, because they were to busy arresting and pepper spraying parents who were trying to save their children. This Just shows how incompetent amd badly trained the American police force is. The blood of those students and teachers are on those officers hands as they are also responsible for their deaths. Health and Safety.
