McManus said the Pride flag is inconsistent with Catholic teaching because it "represents support of gay marriage and actively living a LGBTQ+ lifestyle," while the BLM movement "contradicts Catholic social teaching on the importance and role of the nuclear family." The school also cannot sponsor any Mass or sacraments at churches with the Diocese of Worcester and is prevented from holding any fundraiser connected with other institutions within the diocese, McManus' decree said.
Religion is fine taken in moderation.
Good. Catholic Churches already preach that all people are equal - God created every single person in His image, and loves them equally. Jesus loved sinners, but he did NOT condone their sin. He told them to sin no more, and they listened. He didn’t encourage and validate sin. :/

The Catholic Church takes centuries to adapt. In 1615 Galileo was tried by the Roman Inquisition for his views on heliocentrism and spent the rest of his life under house arrest (lucky him). He was rehabilitated in the 1960s, more than 300 years later.
Thank you to this Bishop for saving these children from his flawed interpretation of Jesus. Jesus is love and strength. The small and fearful Bishop seems to have forgotten this.

Yes I'm catholic. Yes I go to church almost every Sunday. But I go not to hear the priest but to give thanks to God for the week. Priests are just about the money & power. And I wouldn't trust them around my boys.
