Standardized testing scores in Texas are slowly improving after disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Texas Education Agency said STAAR test results for high school students were slightly better this year compared to last year. Test results for students in 3rd through 8th grades will be released next week.

Texas should move away from standardize testing. It’s a waste of money and has but a restraint on our childrens education. It was created by lobbyists.

This test is a waste of time for our teachers and students.

That’s like saying I made $.10 more than I did last year. The government screwed our kids over for years to come with the shutdowns far longer than they should have been
