Uvalde is trying to cover up records on top cop who led bungled police response to school shooter

Lawyers hired by the City of Uvalde, Texas, have written a letter to state attorney general Ken Paxton trying to wriggle out of divulging information to the public. In a letter penned Wednesday, law firm Denton Navarro Rocha Bernal & Zech said the City received 148 requests for information from May 25 through June 7.
