'Sudden turnarounds in policies are not healthy for the nation’s development.' - Professor Datuk Dr Ahmad Ibrahim

KUDOS to the government for reverting to the earlier rail transport policy. One problem that has plagued the country for years is the policy changes that happen whenever there is a change of leadership in the government.

It would be okay for bad policies, but the concern is that even good policies have been sacrificed. We have seen how a good policy like the Goods and Services Tax was scrapped, using the poor excuse that it had led to price hikes. This proved to be unfounded, and now there is a rethink on bringing back the GST.

So even policies that are detrimental for the country and taxpayers - we don't change the skipper ? This Professor can afford RM500 ticket. Normal rakyat cannot Professor sudah makan dedak ?

Malaysia is waiting wt abated breath on d ECRL. If current govt lose in GE15, alignment might change 2 PH's choice. Best if this prjct move faster beyond any possibility 2 change alignment again.
