In a nation where money is the measure of all things, your surprise at the notion of greed and profit baffles me.

Payback should be simple interest, that means all money paid on debt goes toward principal.Nobody should be making interest on these loans.That is just plain WRONG. You owe your soul to the student loan company store, and yes that makes it predatory.FEDERAL GOVT NEEDS TO STEP IN.

Americans need to clearly understand that they are poor because of corrupt people such as Betsy DeVos and Donald Trump.

To bad we let the federal government take over the student loans.

Well stay away from SJVC! i am paying on $16,000. worth of students loans for an education i never received! I had a 4.0 and was on both deans lists for my 1st semester than my instructor verbally attacked me in front of everyone! I never went back and they still charged my loan

The last nail in the coffin was the one after another strike in the top airlines.

Well that degree they got in liberal arts didn’t help them calculate that own their own?

And the Department of Education has been sitting on this information even as states attempt to file lawsuits.
