The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has declared that the Federal Government has not invited the university lecturers to a negotiation meeting

Reports had emerged that the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, would be meeting with the striking lecturers on Monday to resolve the lingering crisis.

Ngige, who is also a 2023 presidential candidate under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, assured Nigerians in a statement on Friday that the lingering crisis would be resolved in a meeting on Monday.
