Melaka CID chief Asst Comm Lim Meng Seah said the suspect was detained as soon as he arrived at Melaka Sentral from his round trip to Kelantan at 10.30am on Sunday .
"The victim had alerted the police, claiming that the driver caressed both her thighs while she was asleep during the journey back from Kota Baru. It was learnt that the victim also informed her friends here of the incident and all of them also helped by informing the police. He said the 21-year-old victim had told police that the driver abused her sexually while the bus had stopped at the Ajil rest and recreational area in Terengganu at 4am the same day.
