Actor Amber Heard testified for a second day on Thursday in the widely followed defamation case brought by her ex-husband Johnny Depp, describing times she said he kicked and injured her when he was jealous.
Heard said she switched seats several times during the flight and that Depp threw ice cubes and utensils at her. At one point, he came behind her and kicked her in the back, she said. Security guards and staff on the plane did not react, she added.Earlier Heard, who was on the stand defending herself against her ex-husband’s libel allegations, testified that Depp surrounded himself with an entourage of enablers who shielded him from the consequences of his drug and alcohol use.
She went on to describe how Depp accused her of flirting with someone at the Met Gala in New York. In their hotel room after the event, she said he shoved her, resulting in a struggle.Depp is suing Heard for libel over an article she wrote indescribing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse”. Depp’s lawyers say he was defamed by the 2018 article even though it never mentioned his name.is suing Heard for $US50 million .
