A group of students at a Garland ISD high school have been suspended after making threats online about harming and killing other students.
Garland police said the group of students from Naaman Forest High School have been suspended indefinitely and are not allowed on Garland ISD property, police said.It’s unclear when the threats were made, how many students were involved or whether the students are facing any charges.The FBI, North Texas Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Garland Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident.
“Threats of violence will not be tolerated,” Garland police said in a prepared statement. “The Garland Police Department, the FBI, and GISD will continue to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of our students and staff.”.
