Teachers will be allowed not to report for on-site duty from May 2 to 13 to prepare for the upcoming May 9 elections, the Department of Education said on Friday.

The DepEd said teachers and schools will also prepare for election activities and as polling places before election day, adding that post-election activities in the schools and by the teachers who will serve in the elections.
