NJ district will teach new sexual education standards, but on last day of school

Bartlett wrote that the lessons will be taught on the final day of classes to limit the sharing of information between students. "We also believe that the state is acknowledging its overreach, and has begun distancing itself from some of the new standards," she wrote."It would not surprise us if many of these topics are altered prior to the new school year.

"Our Comprehensive Health and Physical Student Learning Standards were crafted over 5 months in collaboration with many stakeholders, including parents, experts, and teachers, to ensure that our students receive age-appropriate and inclusive health education, which is critical for their physical, mental, and emotional development and well-being.

That’s disgusting and ridiculous…. Nothing of that sort should be mentioned to kids until health class in hs… when they are more aware of themselves and their bodies… shame on them

I approve. Health Class back in the day was a fkn joke… teens get knocked up because no one was taught to teach properly. Now, you have the internet which pretty much makes sex normal/exposed… now the question is guiding teens to be responsible. All good in my book.

Who ever decides this should be shown what hell is for 30 sec which is like a lifetime so that they are aware of the damage that they are causing and have the chance to repent of their evil ways. Poor children. Making them become empty confused and mentally unstable. It's a sin!

World just keeps falling….

One day when it all comes out we will see that the sexual abuse of children committed by teachers will shadow the Catholic Church
