Teacher unions and the School Governing Body Council of SA have blasted the Limpopo basic education department’s decision to stop education assistants from furthering their studies.

It’s pure madness vele, this did not only happen in Limpopo. My contract at the school I was working at as an EA in the Northern Cape was terminated, because I’m doing my PGCE (Not Funded-Distance Learning) DBE_BEEI DBE_SA is fully aware of this new circular.

Education assistants done alot previous year and was on display that they were doing the duties of some one's with heart and passions.
