DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones said that the 100% onsite reporting required for all DepEd offices in areas under Alert Level 1 is an opportunity to improve the implementation of multiple learning delivery modalities through supervision and monitoring.

Department of Education Secretary Leonor Briones, on Tuesday, April 19, said that the 100 percent onsite reporting required for all DepEd offices in areas under Alert Level 1 is an opportunity to improve the implementation of multiple learning delivery modalities through supervision and monitoring.“With this, we can facilitate school-level activities such as learning action cells, coaching and mentoring, remedial classes, and parent-teacher conferences,” said Briones.

Under IATF Resolution No. 163-A also known as Guidelines on the Nationwide Implementation of Alert Level System for Covid-19 Response, all government agencies under Alert Level 1 are required to adhere to the 100 percent onsite workforce. “This will cover teaching and non-teaching personnel, including contracts of service and job orders in all offices, schools, and community learning centers , both adopting face-to-face classes and learning modalities,” said DepEd.
