The bulk of the funds, more than $645.5 million, would be used to replace or reconstruct facilities at existing campuses. Another $207.3 million is earmarked for infrastructure upgrades.
This year’s bond would be second phase of a probably five-phase plan to address the needs of the once-rapidly-growing district and ensure that a student’s education quality is not dictated by their ZIP code, Woods said.
