Penang’s squash players accepted into Harvard and Princeton plan to continue competing | Malay Mail

GEORGE TOWN, April 8 — The two Penang squash players who were accepted into United States’ two top Ivy League universities plan to continue competing in the sport while pursuing science degrees there.

“I will make squash my career once I complete my studies at Harvard but even while studying, I will represent Harvard in squash,” he said.“I will explore my options in my first year before choosing my major,” he said in an interview after receiving a special aid of RM3,000 from the state government presented by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.He won gold at the 10th Asean School Games 2018 and gold at the under-17 HCL Indian Junior Open 2019.

She won gold in the 10th Asean School Games 2018, silver in the Ohana National Squash Championship 2019 and gold in the Penang Squash championship 2021.
