Flight Centre CEO Graham Turner says domestic travel is “getting back” to pre-pandemic levels, especially with the upcoming Easter school holidays.

It comes as Sydney Airport faced massive delays and passenger queues on Thursday night and Friday morning.

Mr Turner said popular domestic travel destinations include Queensland, especially from travellers leaving Sydney and Melbourne. “Internationally, we’re going back into Fiji … Bali, North America, the UK and Europe is very popular,” he told Sky News Australia. “The next couple of days are going to be quite crucial, as obviously, Easter is coming up next week and there’ll be a lot more travel.”
