This year's winnings reflect the students' academic excellence on both national and international stages. kyuem_official

With 11 awards won in 2021, the college notes an ongoing steady increase in achievements in recent years – six awards in 2017, seven in 2018 and nine in 2019. No awards were given out in 2020 due to the predicted grade system in operation that year.

KYUEM student Tan Yaann bagged two awards for being Top in Malaysia for Economics and Geography in the recent May/June 2021 exam series. Six current award recipients – those who graduated in June 2021 – are going to renowned universities such as University College London, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and the University of Nottingham.

Teaching and learning proceeds in modern, well-equipped classrooms, laboratories and lecture theatres, with numerous digital and textual academic materials available to students at its Resource Centre.
