A gay couple in St. Johns County is listed as plaintiffs in an 80-page federal complaint filed against the Parental Rights in Education law, or as critics call it, the ”Don’t Say Gay” law.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A gay couple in St. Johns County is listed as plaintiffs in an 80-page federal complaint filed against the Parental Rights in Education law, or as critics call it, the ”Don’t Say Gay” law.

The VanTices are celebrating their 15 wedding anniversary this year and adopted two 7-year-old boys who attend school in St. Johns County. “It was very clear that this bill was a direct attack on LGBTQ people in the community and families,” Dan VanTice said.

That's the guy that was following me around at Walmart when I was trying on jeans. Trying to pick me up. He's married. Huh.

As a parent of both a straight kid and a gay kid I will say this, at no point in time between kindergarten and 3rd grade would I ever want a teacher discussing sex with either of them. Discussing sex with a 5, 6, or 7 year old is almost predatory if you ask me.

How does it stigmatize your family? I guess if all you see is sexual orientation when you look at people, then I'd say that you're the one with the problem.

Why?

The bill says nothing about gay but stop teachers from grooming young kids. I guess that’s ok with them. Deviant

Go get em, VanTice family! Your neighbors have your back 💪🏽

BadAzU Just noticed the CBS and Fox joint venture This may answer about where CBS is at Especially in light of hiring Mick Mulvaney

We look forward to having this complaint thrown out if court. It’s a good and majority supported law, and 11 other states are drafting similar legislation.

Groomers

The children can talk about their parents all they want but the teachers shouldn’t be talking to children about which one is the giver and which one is the taker….no more than which one is on top or bottom in a heterosexual relationship…..

Two sodomites violating God's law and depriving two boys of a mother should be stigmatized.

Neat, most people and parents don’t care that they are gay. Just leave that out of the classrooms thanks!

The Anti-Grooming Law. So they will need to show an overwhelming need for teachers to discuss sexual practices with 5-8 yer old children.

The GOP:

I believe that equal rights have to be implemented, perhaps with supervision! 😉👍👍👍

Y'all wild for immediately equating an anti-groomer law with the alphabet soup community 🤣

This is what happens when you are not taught to read for yourself.

🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

they can talk to their kids about it all they want…I don’t want any teacher talking to my 3rd grade boy about it. period. and if your offended…go find your happy place.

As they should. This law has no place in Florida schools or anywhere else
