Fondly referred to as Easy Sawaba, the Fuji musician, an Oyo State indigene, was born in Ghana. It was gathered that the Ibadan-based Fuji icon died at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, after suffering a partial stroke.

Veteran Nigerian Fuji musician, Alhaji Iyanda Isiaka Sawaba, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 71. Fondly referred to as Easy Sawaba, it was gathered that the Ibadan-based Fuji icon died at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, after suffering a partial stroke.º Although the Fuji musician was a native of Ile Aperin, Ibadan, Oyo State, he was born in Ghana on, November 11, 1951.
