What environment of entitlement and toxic masculinity allowed this violation of classmates and the further coverup by school leadership?
Ruining the reputation, seriously? The media isnt ruining it, the administration who chose to try and cover it up and the students involved ruined it. I am sure it's not the first thing to happen and it won't be the last.
'Through social media'? That's embarrassing... A student from SMC told me that the broom incident actually happened 2 weeks ago but teachers were notified not until Monday and police got notified on Wednesday THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA.. WHATREYOUHIDING
Five Maryland prep football players charged with rape after alleged hazing ritual with broomstick By Pete Blackburn Nov 8, 2018 • 2 min read - May the same happen at smc
Pathetic that a parent is more concerned of the schools reputation! The school should be held accountable for this as well. And why haven’t the individuals been arrested and charged yet?
What a nice Catholic private school
Despite the school not calling the police, why didn't the parents of the victim call the police?
The administration should be charged as well as each and every student involved. This was a CRIME and they failed to report it. Disgusting!
St. Mikes is the land of misfit toys and rejects. I hope those thug life punks get everything they deserve and more. I also hope that the police blow the doors of that disgusting and deceptive place!
Teaching the next gen of monied psychopaths good Catholic values.
tcdsb high school admins have been neglecting students & tolerating harassment (sexual, virtual, physical, you name it), for the LONGEST time. i speak for A LOT of students, both past and present when i say that going to a tcdsb high school is the most toxic 4 years of your life.
what do you guys think of my house?
Something is very wrong here...
the 10 students should be charged with assault/sexual assault, and may the individual who suffered such traumatics seek justice. Those 10 young men need to be persecuted by every extent of the law StMichaelsCollege
The school had a legal and moral obligation to inform the police. The fact they didn't leads me to question what else has been hidden?
Wow smh
Sick and disgusted...and 'one parent' is more concerned about the school's reputation than the poor student(s) that were raped.
The school MUST be held accountable first for not informing the police. Deal with the perpetrators next. What is the law for juvenile sex offenders?
EliiAK marisajonesxo HOWWWWW? Im livid
“Ruin the reputation of the school” Disgusting..hope the child that was assaulted sues the school for millions.
Can't wait for the movie!
And just like that the jewish teens that where attacked has been swept under the carpet, no discription of the teens that did it, even though they arrested one! We want answers on the hate crime!!
It's time to change that pathetic ':act'protecting juvenile THUGS. ENOUGH is enough. They are a DANGER to people around them. All thugs over 14 years old MUST be KNOWN by the public. (JustinTrudeau Puglaas )Enough protection for criminals.
That is disturbing, the fact the school did not inform the police means they wanted to keep it to themselves. The individuals of authority who kept this to themselves should be charged too
Admin should all be fired for breaking protocol and not calling police first.
Whoever that ignorant parent is for getting angry at the press for ruining the reputation of the school is a Sociopath! Anybody that takes the reputation of a school over the safety and well being of its students is without empathy. The press didn't ruin things the bully's did!
Very strange. Why is no one asking school why police was not contacted? Just because they are an 'elite' school doesn't mean you can't ask a question.
Why did the school not inform the cops?
