Republican lawmakers in Pa.’s General Assembly put forth a proposal to stop transgender girls from competing in school sports, making Pa. at least the 10th state to propose barring some young athletes from interscholastic competition.

Rep. Mary Isaacson of Philadelphia, a Democrat on the committee, said athletes' eligibility should be addressed by their sports' governing bodies.

The NCAA has adopted a sport-by-sport approach for transgender athletes, bringing the organization in line with the U.S. and International Olympic Committees. The ruling follows controversy over Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer at Penn who is currently breaking records competing with women after spending her first three years at the school competing with men.

As if that's even necessary. If there are now in Democrat led dystopia no women/girl or men/boy genders nomenclature then there should be no female/girls & male/boys sports. Let it be unisex sports. A free for all. gop NAAC

I'm so glad my tax dollars will be used to defend a bill crafted to attack *ONE* student in state. I cannot believe anyone thought this guy would be useful in ANY WAY.
