London is set for cool but sunny 10C for Oxford and Cambridge boat race

Today will see the return of Spring to most of the UK after a chilly morning, in some places reaching 10C .

Warmer breezes are a relief for the Oxford and Cambridge University boat race, which is set for this afternoon. It comes as temperatures plunged below freezing overnight, the lowest being minus 7C in Wales. Sunshine will be followed by showers in the evening, with some clouds in northern England and Scotland
