Its time we do something about Afghanistan. It's been 17 years... This is a never ending war. Set a pull out date then leave.

But 'free health care' is too radical according to the GOP

jgownder Where your treasure is, so too your heart.

Sickening

Can we get a refund, I think this war has gone bad?

But we can’t afford Medicare for All.

tvaziri All those innocent people dead, all that fucking money... How many free hospitals, free schools , free libraries, free care homes is that. Hell, you could even pay for people to develop as more war!

but the soldiers who put their lives on the line and are used as props by the war mongers in government only get paid appr $20,000 a YEAR ... they often end up on welfare that those same war mongers like to blame for all of our issues while feeding the war machine

What's the ROI?

'yeah nice social agenda but how you gonna pay for it'

I think a more accurate headline would be, America borrowed $5.6 trillion dollars to pay for wars in the Middle East and Asia. What are the annual interest payment? Who will repay that loan? Who benefited financially from the wars? Don't forget $140 billion given to Israel.

Which all contributed to 3x worth more of destruction and death as a result. Nothing has changed since thousands of years. Only the methods are more sophisticated.

something something FREEDOM!

Fools! If only they'd spent $5,600,000,000,001! ISIS would be a thing of the past!

sdbanville Wow, a staggering amount.

Sorry. They're just isn't any money for schools, healthcare, or climate research.

And America's news media outlets gleefully supported every war and carried water for the government and its lies.

A trillion seconds is 32,000 years. $5.6 trillion is unconscionable. Disgusting.

I wish we spent this on infrastructure and education back home.

We fought them on a Chinese credit card, too.

Idiocy ...USArmy NationalPickleDay

How much of that goes into the pockets of corporations like LockheedMartin rather then the brave men and women risking their lives on the battlefield. It’s disgusting.

roseg All on borrowed money and mostly Chinese money WHAT AN ABSURD WORLD WE LIVE IN

Trump defeats ISIS. Remember the JV team that Obama couldn’t beat

zebrasfly & how many $$$$$ have the war industry profiteers made from it?

How can this be ok.. seriously. 😢

I don't ever want to hear that we can't afford Medicare for All again.

Meanwhile student loan debt is insane, poverty and homelessness insane, wage gap is insane. But hey, let's go tell someone else they're doing it wrong while blowing their shit up.

Let's spend 5.6 trillion more and complete the mission.

'fiscal responsibility'

What if we spent 5.6 tril on the poor and underserved in this country? I mean literally how much better would everyone's – everyone's – lives be?

Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also

Meanwhile, Patriotic teachers buy class room supplies with their own money and even Vets with injuries live on the streets.

More Tax Cuts Pay for the wars

A new study says? Shouldn't that just be annual transparency from foreign affairs?

ASININE

Rivers of innocent blood to feed warmongerism beasts

What a complete waste of money. Imagine if we had instead spent $5.6 Trillion on getting off of oil?

All for the Rothschild's Empire.

And so much to show for it!

Glad I spoke up loudly in 2001 against this endless war.. I sleep well knowing I stood up for what was right. Shame U.S. Government chose wrong and took the country to senseless endless worthless war... again. Oh well. More valuable than the trillion$ lost are the innocent lives

But but Trump is mean...
