ADDIS ABABA - Human Rights Watch on Thursday urged Ethiopia to probe an airstrike on a school in the war-torn Tigray region that killed dozens as an "apparent war crime".
There were mainly elderly people, women and children sleeping in plastic tents there, it said, adding that there was no evidence of military targets at the site. "Using guided bombs without evidence of any military target indicates that this was an apparent war crime," said Laetitia Bader, Horn of Africa director for HRW.
