JOHOR BARU: Contrary to previous years, it’s the parents who are getting the first school day jitters this time around.

Mother of three, Radiah Saori, 42, said her youngest daughter started her first day of school yesterday.

“I am a bit nervous for my seven-year-old daughter as she has spent most of her time in kindergarten attending online classes at home. “This in a way, has affected her grasp of reading. “I am concerned that she may be overwhelmed in her new environment but I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go well in her new school,
