When I’m the only person that shows up to a 400 person meeting, it’s usually my fault
Wonder how these kids will find jobs that don’t begin before 11 and upset their delicate little body clocks
Hmmm. A non-story.
Clickbait. It was an optional information session scheduled during reading week.
Known in 17th-century Oxford as a 'Wall Lecture'
They are paying, they can turn up if they like
So - just poor scheduling and little to do with attitudes of students then. A none-story - another misleading headline
Nobody cares about this useless bullshit subject I guess
ZoeNangah Shocking at first but then realised this is a curriculum design flaw on their part. Why schedule such an essential lecture during reading week and why isn’t this information embedded into curriculum/seminars anyway?
Seeing that students pay £10k of their own fee money p.a. surely it's their choice? 'Market forces in action?' Rather than Uni be so passive-aggressive perhaps 'off-line'- discussions as to 'why'? Students may have info, scheduling (reading week!/clashes) etc or poor tutor?
Oh dear. But sadly 'The lecture on “Demystifying Marking Criteria and Assessment' ...' does sound akin to watching paint dry.
'marking criteria and our marking processes.' Yeah no wonder nobody showed up. The this meeting should have been a fucking memo syndrome.
Reminds me of Obama's lectures!
unibirmingham 😲
I’m guessing TrentUni ...
